With 30 years in the HVAC industry and a love for RV life, Dan built his own smart thermostat because nothing on the market was good enough. That DIY project became WalTech.

With 15 years of tech and operations leadership, Rockey ran a community survey that proved what RV owners had been saying for years — their thermostats were terrible. That survey shaped every feature in WalTech.
The Mission
Every feature in WalTech came from listening to real RV owners. The cellular connection? Because campground WiFi is a joke. Pet monitoring? Because RVers told us they were terrified of leaving their dogs. The universal fit? Because nobody should have to wonder if it works with their brand.
The Vision
