Turn off the breaker
Remove old Furrion - the 4 wires go right to left: Ground (green), Power (red), RS-485 A (blue), RS-485 B (purple)
Mount WalTech using the included template and screws
Connect: Pin 8 = Ground, Pin 7 = Power (+12V), Pin A = RS-485 A, Pin B = RS-485 B
Connect included jumper wire from Pin 8 to Pin 16 (safety ground)
Power on, select "Furrion Single Zone," set Heat 1 = Furnace, Heat 2 & 3 = NA
No jumper to Pin 6 needed - Furrion uses signal-based communication, not relays.

Yes. WalTech replaces Furrion single-zone and multi-zone thermostats that use the 4-wire setup (2 power + 2 RS-485 signal wires). The exceptions are Furrion variable speed HVAC systems and newer R-32 refrigerant models.
What is the Furrion 4-wire setup?
Furrion uses 4 wires: +12V power (red), ground (green), and two RS-485 communication wires - A (blue) and B (purple). Both single-zone and multi-zone Furrion thermostats use this exact same wiring. The RS-485 wires handle all communication with the HVAC controller.
Why is my Furrion thermostat reading the wrong temperature?
Furrion thermostats are known for inaccurate readings. WalTech Vision 2.0 uses a precision temperature sensor accurate to within 1 degree. Plus, you can fine-tune it in Settings > Calibration to match exactly how your RV feels.
Does WalTech support Furrion heat pump systems?
WalTech currently supports Furrion systems that use a furnace only. Staged heating (heat pump + furnace) on Furrion is not yet supported, but the team is actively working on adding this feature.
Is WalTech compatible with Furrion R-32 models?
