No, WalTech Vision 2.0 comes with a built-in SIM card that auto-connects to T-Mobile, Cellular One, and AT&T networks based on their signal strength.

No, if you have stable Wi-Fi, a cellular subscription is not mandatory. However, if you do not have stable Wi-Fi inside your camper, the built-in SIM card will ensure that your device stays connected to the internet, allowing you to control it remotely from hundreds of miles away. You can also switch it on and off when not using your camper. The subscription is $10.99 per month for the months you are using it.

If you do not have Wi-Fi or are camping in a place without network coverage from AT&T, T-Mobile, or Cellular One, you will not be able to remotely control your device using the mobile app. However, you can always control it manually, just like your current thermostat.
